MODELING AND ANIMATION PROJECT
An exercise in software exploration, this modeling and animation project gives new life to one of the world’s most important inventions– the printing press. Using photographs of the 1880 Marinoni press as a design guide, all pertinent wheels, gears, keys, belts and embellishments were modeled using a combination of Rhino and 3dsMax. Renderings and animation were done in 3dsMax. See the animation here.
